It Takes Two, a collaboration between Electronic Arts and Hazelight, launches on Switch on November 4. This heartwarming adventure was originally released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles in 2021. Game Informer gave it a 9.25 rating and the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2021.
It takes Two is only available to be played together. You can play it on one Switch via splitscreen, on two Switches via local WiFi or online with the free friend's card.
My Xbox One review stated that "It Takes Two" may not be the platforming juggernaut it aspires, but it makes up for this with its large heart, rich in variety and beautiful imagery. Although many of the actions can be found in other games, when they are combined with this cooperative approach, they are given a new life and can be used in amazing ways throughout a lengthy adventure. You will be laughing so hard at your TV that you won't stop talking about it. The story is strong and provides the foundation for an exciting adventure that will keep you on the screen to find out if this couple can rekindle their lost love.
