Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Chasm Chamber: How to Unlock All Portal Icons and How to Get the Best Reward

You can grind without the need to beat the entire game, as with other Borderlands games. We're going to show you how to unlock the Chaos Chamber mode, and give you the best rewards.

What is Chaos Chamber?

The Chaos Chamber is a rougelike mode found in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Roguelike means that you can take your current gear along to a series of random fights that increase in difficulty as time goes by. These fights are similar to the Overworld's many random and camp encounters.

There is one major difference: Chaos Chamber enemies drop crystals which can be used to buy modifiers or rewards at the finish. These can be difficult as enemies can easily outlevel you. Remember that you only get three lives for every run. While you can die once, it won't end your run prematurely. But don't make it a routine.

The Chaos Levels function in a similar way to Mayhem Levels in Borderlands 3. They allow you to make your next runs more difficult by climbing up the mountains. This will give you a better chance of securing amazing loot. You may also encounter enemies at the maximum level.

How to Unlock Chaos Chamber Game Mode

You will be able to complete the story mission and begin the quest Epilogue. This will take you around Brighthoof, where you can learn more about the new game mechanics.

At the request of Queen Butt Stallion, the quest ends with you being taken to Brighthoof castle where you will meet the Dragon Lord. After a short tutorial, he will guide you through the process and allow you to run Chaos Chamber runs whenever and wherever you like.

How to get the best Chaos Chamber rewards in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

You don't need to do any magic tricks here. All you want is crystal farming. You will be dropped in an area that corresponds to different loot types. Each statue has a crystal amount that you need to spend for the related loot fountain. Crystals cannot be carried over from one run to the next so you will only have one option: spend them.

There are several things you can do to increase your crystal gains. Extended runs are your best friend. This boost to crystals, along with the fact that there are many more fights to get them, is crucial.

If you are able to enter a chamber with one, then follow the side objectives. You can defend a statue or destroy one. However, you'll get more crystals for completing the chamber. They are definitely worth your time.

Third, choose the more difficult curse when you are choosing to play with the Dragon Lord. This one is a bit counterintuitive to the idea of speed runs. However, you will often see a significant increase in crystals, making it well worth the effort.

When choosing a chamber portal, make sure you have enough crystals. Although 50 crystals may seem high, you will get more rewards for your investment.

However, you should only do it when there are enough crystals. There is nothing worse than reaching the end without receiving the full reward from your loot statue. Avoid using the blessings in the chambers. While they may seem inexpensive, they can quickly add up and drain your bank account.

Icons for the Chamber Portal

You will be able to choose between two portals after clearing a Chamber. You choose how you want the next Chamber to end, just like other roguelikes.

Dragon Lord Portal

The Dragon Lord portal icon signifies that when you clear the next Chamber, the Dragon Lord will appear and offer you two curses.

As stated above, if crystal gains are important to you, choose the more difficult curse.

Butt Stallion Portal

The portal will close with Queen Butt Stallion granting you one random blessing. These blessings won't impact your crystal gain rate, and they will be drawn from the available blessings/perks that you see in the Chambers.

They can make your runs more enjoyable, since the blessing is free. This portal is the one we recommend the least, as it offers crystal gain at the end of your run.

Chest Portal

This portal is a way to get some crystals and loot.

These are the Chambers to visit if you are in it for the loot. These can be turned into Elite encounters for even better results.

Crystal Chest Portal

These portals and Dragon Lord portals will maximize your crystal gains. These crystal chest portals function in the same way as the loot chest ones except that the dice at the end will give you a lot of crystals.

You can easily increase the amount by using the harder curses listed above.
